Each of the stories gathered here is true.

(At least from each narrator’s point of view!)

‘Cause at this point in human history,

most agree—History, or Memory,

is a rather shifty and shady thing.

 

Among the swirling, infinite wellspring

of mortal chronicles, I sought to choose,

primarily, a few that will amuse.

And that also might challenge our views—

that raise questions or celebrate taboos.

You’ll find some facts that sound a bit far-fetched.

Real-life scenes that seem a bit-of-a-stretch.

The OMG. The WTF. The Absurd.
